The Team

Jill Payne and her husband Marc are parents to six children who range in age from 10 to 21 this includes four biological children and two foster children, who found their forever home with the Paynes in July 2020. She describes her family as "blessed to have these blessings from God." She acknowledges that she has been fortunate to have resources that many foster families and foster children do not have, such as friends and family who rallied to help gather what was needed when her family received the unexpeced call that two young children were going to join their home in a matter of hours. Also, the children who were coming into their home came from another foster family and had some items with them; many children in foster care do not have many possessions to bring with them making it necessary for the accepting family to quickly gather needed items.

Jill received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 2000. She is the Marketing & Public Relations Director for a franchise division of Papa John's, a Pampered Chef team leader, and she currently serves as VP for the Choral Department at a local high school. She has served on school, non-profit, and community boards for more than 15 years; and she is adept at fundraising. In her spare time she also makes cakes and does catering for local events. However, her passion is for assisting foster families. Jill is excited to serve on the board of directors of Foster Village East TN and to use her knowledge and skills to advance the mission of Foster Village.
