The Team

Ashley Stansberry has lived in East Tennessee her entire life. She and her husband of 18 years have two children, Hunter and Olivia. Hunter is married to Alanis, and they currently reside in Alabama while pursuing their education and careers. Olivia is a student at Christ Legacy Academy and often volunteers at Foster Village events. Ashley is a faithful member of her church and is an active volunteer for the children and youth ministry.

Ashley graduated high school in 2003 and received her Licensed Practical Nurse license in 2004. She has worked as a nurse for almost 20 years and currently serves as the director of the nurse med line for Health Connect America. Health Connect America provides personalized mental health services for adults and at-risk children and their families through an innovative approach to treatment. Through this work, Ashley has seen firsthand the importance of kinship and foster families for at-risk children and how equipping them, connecting with them, and advocating for them can better the lives of all those involved. Ashley is excited and honored to serve on the Board for Foster Village East TN.
